Help & FAQ
Start with the basics, then explore the terms behind MEFI's wallet, creator markets and rewards.
Getting started
MEFI brings listening, creators and token-powered features together. Connect an existing compatible wallet or use the wallet setup options to get started. Keep any recovery phrase private and stored safely offline.
Explore music first. Some features can reward eligible listening or other participation; the applicable requirements, status and available rewards appear in the relevant Earn sections.
Listening and rewards
Eligible listening activity is tracked for MEFI's reward mechanisms. Displayed progress or pending rewards should not be confused with a completed on-chain transfer. Check the relevant rewards view for eligibility and claim status.
Creator tokens are associated with individual artists. KEY staking may unlock creator-token earning and additional benefits according to the selected membership tier. MEFI is a separate platform token used in specific economic and reward mechanisms.
Creator tokens and market graduation
An artist token can begin in a bonding-curve market, where buying and selling follow the curve's pricing rules. Prices can move in either direction and are not guaranteed.
Market graduation means the token meets the specified conditions to transition to a later trading structure, including a public liquidity pool where applicable. Until then, follow the artist's displayed market stage and available actions. Creator tokens are volatile and can lose substantial value.
Mint / Redeem versus Buy / Sell
Earn → Mint / Redeem lets you mint MEFI using eDAI through the MEFI contract or redeem MEFI for eDAI backing. Contract redemption burns the redeemed MEFI. This is a crypto conversion, not a bank withdrawal.
That screen also compares a PulseX market swap between existing eDAI and MEFI. A swap does not create or redeem tokens through the MEFI contract. Review estimated outputs, fees, price impact and slippage before approving a transaction.
My Pass, staking and farming
My Pass uses KEY staking to activate an eligible membership tier. Staking means locking or allocating tokens to a particular contract; any exit conditions and available benefits belong to that specific product.
MEFI staking and farming are separate features. Withdrawing from a farm or claiming a stake is an on-chain action, not withdrawing cash to a bank. Check each screen for its current fees, timing, eligibility and available rewards.
Mystery Box and streaks
Mystery Box offers paid and eligibility-based opens, with different allowances tied to available tier and streak features. Its current screen displays the applicable KEY cost, open eligibility and available prize information.
Prizes depend on the active reward mechanism and reserve, including rarity-based outcomes. They are variable, not a fixed percentage or a guaranteed return. Use the current Mystery Box screen rather than older examples for cost and eligibility.
Deposits, withdrawals and fiat
Wallet → Deposit shows your PulseChain receiving address and a link to Guardarian's external PLS buying service. Confirm both the receiving address and network with the provider before paying.
Wallet → Withdraw can help you convert available MEFI or KEY to PLS through separate user-confirmed on-chain transactions, then open Guardarian's external PLS selling page. Guardarian's integrated service is awaiting approval, is subject to regional availability, and handles its own identity checks, fees and payout status. MEFI cannot currently track or confirm an external fiat order or payout. A confirmed crypto conversion is not confirmation of a fiat withdrawal.
Purchase receipts in Settings cover historical card purchases, not a complete blockchain or Guardarian transaction history.
Wallet and transaction safety
Check the network, destination, token, amount, estimated output and any contract allowance before approving a wallet transaction. Never share a private key or recovery phrase with anyone, including purported support staff.
Wallet connection and ownership verification are different from authorizing a transaction. On-chain transfers may be irreversible, and an external provider's order status must be checked with that provider.
